The site is a small 110 in stream <br />in a dry gulch, that only carries flow during measurable precipitation <br />events. The site was granted a Temporary Cessation Status in 2000 and will <br />either commence operation or ask for another five-year extension. As stated <br />earlier the site is in a dry streambed, a small amount of stockpile <br />material was observed along the North side of the dry channel. The operator <br />had placed a fence to delineate the permit area, given the difficulty of <br />placing boundary markers in such areas, the fence appeared to be in good <br />repair. Channel embankments did not show any more erosion features than was <br />observed in the embankments outside of the permit area. The permit sign was <br />properly posted.
