A site inspection of the Haynes-Hereford Ranch Pit was made as part of the Division's on-going 4-year inspection <br />program. The site is located 2.5 miles northwest of Holyoke. Present during the inspection was Mr. Randy Schafer of <br />Phillips County. <br />2. The Haynes-Hereford Ranch Pit is an active pit with approximately 2 acres of disturbance. There is approximately 1 <br />acre of stockpile disturbance and 1 acre of active excavation into the creek bed of dry Frenchman Creek. The excavation <br />is approximately 3-S' deep and the operator has done a good job of maintaining the creek banks at a configuration of 1:1. <br />During final reclamation, the creek bank slopes will be graded to a slope of 3:1. All disturbances were within the 9.9 acre <br />permit boundary. <br />3. An entrance sign was posted and the permit boundary was properly marked. <br />4. Digital photographs were taken and are attached to this report. <br />5.
