COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the uispection Th© comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the mspecuon Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the ~nspecbon <br />and the facts or evidence supponrng the enforcement action <br />This was a complete inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division), The operator has completed some of the <br />reclamation tasks as outlined in the October 2006 bond release inspection for SL-06. <br />Ground conditions were generally dry and the weather was hot with afternoon thunderstorms <br />threatening <br />Availability of Records <br />The public copy of the mine records is kept at the office of Peak Project Management (PPM). <br />The contact, address. and phone number for PPM is Ron Thompson, Peak Prolect <br />Management, 34115 County Road 20.8, Trinidad, CO 81082, 719-846-4975. All records <br />were found rn compliance as detailed on page 2a of this report. <br />Signs and Markers <br />Permit disturbance markers remain in-place at this time. <br />Hydrologic Balance <br />Two ground water monitoring sties have been reclaimed LA-264. a bedrock well, had been <br />previously grouted/seated but the casing was still in place. The casing has now been cutoff <br />below ground level and the area reclaimed (on left below) PAW-g, an alluvial well, was also <br />found sealed and reclaimed (photo below right). <br />
