(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-1989-024
INSPECTION DATE 9/29/05
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS RCO
This inspection was performed by the Division as part of its monitoring of Construction Materials 110 permits. The operator
was contacted about the inspection, but was not present during the inspection. There was no activity at the permit area at the
time of the inspection.
This is an active permit, but there has been no mining activity at the site at all. There is no gate in the fence for the entrance
from the county road, there is no access road across the field to the site, and the site is still a hay field. Since there has been
no mining activity under this permit, the rules concerning temporary cessation and intermittent activity do not apply.
The records show that annual reports accurately reflect that there is still no activity or disturbance. The operator is aware that
as long as the permit is active, annual reports must continue to be filed and annual fees paid. When onsite activitycommences
the annual reports should be updated io reflect those items. Until there is onsite mining disturbance, there is little to monitor or
maintain, except to ensure that noxious weeds are controlled. At this time there are no observed noxious weeds. The level,
well vegetated surface does not contribute to any discharge of surface runoff.
There is a $5,000 bond posted, which is adequate at this time. The bond must continue to be posted as long as the permit is
active.
No further items were observed during the inspection. Responses to this inspection report should be directed to the Division of
Minerals and Geology, 701 Camino del Rio, Room 125, Durango, Colorado 81301, Attn: Bob Oswald; phone no.970-247-5193.
I & E Contact Address
NAME Edward M.
