ORIGINAL -PUBLIC FILE <br />(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: nn-t aRn_~ed <br />INSPECTION DATE: e/,~nlnd INSPECTOROS INITIALS: ~~ <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The Division conducted a monitoring and construction progress inspection of <br />the site on 9/30/04.Drain cover was being deployed along the EAST side of <br />the Phase IVC area at the time of the inspection. Drain cover deployment is <br />expected to be completed by next week. Golder and associates the design and <br />QA/QC engineers are working on the certification report for the Phase IVC <br />area. The financial warranty for the phased area is already in place. CC&V <br />plans to load the pad prior to the submittal of the certification report, <br />but will not apply solution until the report is submitted to the Division. <br />Inspected the Phase I, II, III AND IV pregnant solution collection areas <br />and recorded the following readings from the high and Low volume solution <br />collection transducers. <br />Phase I High volume solution collection transducer # 1 was recorded at 46.3 <br />#2 was at49.9 and # 3 was at 50.1. Low volume # 1 was at.22 and # 2 was at <br />.62. Piezometer for the pond was at 48.6 FEET <br />PHASE II AND III High Volume solution collection transducer # 4 was at 36.1 <br /># 5 was at 30.9 and # 6 was at 36.7. Low volume transducer # 1 was recorded <br />at .12 and # 2 was at .56. Piezometer was at 37.1 feet. <br />Phase IV High and Low Volume solution collection transducer # 7 was <br />recorded at 27.4 # 8 was at 26.7 # 9 was at 27.7 #10 was at 28.0 Low volume <br />solution collection transducer # 1 was recorded at 13.1 and # 2 was at 7.2 <br />inches of hydrostatic head. (ALL OTHER READINGS ARE IN FEET OF HYDROSTATIC <br />HEAD UNLESS NOTED) <br />Inspected the external pond, it was holding approximately the same amount <br />of water as observed last week. While in the area, collected the following <br />readings from the Low volume solution collection transducers for the pond. <br /># 1 was at 11.9 and # 2 was at 5.9 inches of hydrostatic head. Inspected <br />the under drain only the South and 4 inch pipes were discharging north <br />under drain was dry.
