The problems should be corrected by the <br />dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be <br />corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all <br />corrective actions taken. <br />PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS <br />8Li4 <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />CORRECTION <br />DATE <br />1. There is an infestation of a noxious weed, diffuse January 13, 1998 <br />knapweed, at the Rocky Flats Pit. The operator has no (submittal of T.R.) <br />weed control plan for diffuse knapweed in the permit. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Church Ranch must submit an application for a technical PB or PV PB <br />revision by January 13, 1997 which consists of a weed TOPIC(S) RV <br />control plan for weeds at the Rocky Flats Pit. <br />The weed management plan will include a list of weed <br />control methods to be implemented, a schedule for <br />implementation of the control methods, and a monitoring <br />program for evaluating the success of control methods <br />used and the need for further weed control. Church Ranch <br />will make a reasonable attempt to ensure that control <br />measures, such as chemical or mechanical control, continue <br />to be implemented at the Rocky Flats Pit during the 1998 <br />field season and until the infestation is adequately <br />controlled. Church Ranch will submit a description of weed <br />control methods that were applied at the Rocky Flats Pit <br />during the 1998 field season in the Annual Report for 1998. <br />
