Signs and boundary markers were posted as required by the Rules.
2. From observations at the site and measurements on an aerial map, approximately 30 acres
appear to be disturbed at this time. This includes: five acres of process area, three to
four acres of topsoil storage area, and about five acres of reclaimed area.
3. Topsoil stockpile measurements were taken, and while the amount present ie 1850 CY short
of that needed for reclamation (assuming that the 43 acre lake ie created ae planned, leaving
22 acres needing topsoil) there is sufficient bond currently posted to cover the coat of
importing soil to the site and reclaiming currently disturbed areas. The operator ie
reminded, however, that further disturbance or less than careful reclamation work might
result in a deficit which would have to be compensated for in the future.
4. The operator stated during the inspection that an amendment is being compiled at this
time, to make changes to both the end land use and the final acreage which will become a
lake. After these revisions are in, the financial warranty will be recalculated to confirm
its sufficiency to cover the coat of reclamation.
I 6 E Contact Addreee
NAME Bruce Peterson
OPERATOR Rio Grande Sand & Gravel Co.
STREET 201 Santa Fe Dr.
CITYJSTATEJZIP Denver, CO 80223
cc: Carl B.
