i <br />111. Comments - Compliance <br />Below are comments on the inspection. Tile comments include discussion of <br />ouservations rnaae during tine inspection. comments also descriue any <br />enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence <br />supporting the enforcement action. <br />On September 30, 1993 a complete inspection was conducted at the O.C. No. 2 Mine. <br />A representative of the mine was not present during the site inspection, but Robert <br />Weaver was met in Gunnison for the records check. <br />Records were checked in Gunnison; they were found to be in order. <br />All ditches and culverts were inspected and found to be clear and functioning. <br />However. Ditch D-1 from the coal handling bench will require cleaning as Dart of <br />its routine seasonal maintenance. The pond was dry but it appeared that it held <br />less than afoot of water this spring. <br />In the past several weeks equipment has been removed from the underground in <br />preparation for sealing of the portals. Power cables had been strung along the <br />portal roads. <br />
