. . <br />INSPECTION REPORT -2- <br />FILE NO. 80-149 <br />DHTE: Apri 1 1983 <br />RECOMhIENOATIONS: <br />1. The berm between the river and the mining area must be widened to 100' at the <br />top of the berm before April 26, 1983. This date coincides with the timetable <br />mentioned by held County personnel during the inspection. This berm should be <br />maintained at the 100' width. <br />2. Brad Janes' inspection report of June 4, 1981, requested information that has not <br />yet been received. Please provide the following within 30 days: <br />a. Submit a release from the US Army Corp of Engineers for the 100' buffer berm, <br />since this activity was under their direction. <br />b. Please give the disposition of topsoil. <br />c. Give the location from which materials used in the construction of the 100' berm <br />were taken. <br />3. An annual report must be filed each year, on the permit anniversary date. <br />4. The Division feels that a meeting with the Mined Land Reclamation Board will not be <br />necessary at this time as long as the 100' berm is repaired on the time schedule <br />described above. <br />cc: Mr. John Slovek <br />ML LW/pp <br />/ep <br />11/83) <br />Doc, No. 153 <br />
