III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussions of observations made during the <br />inspection. Comments in Section IV describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts <br />or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a joint inspection by Mr. Jim Stark and Mr. Byron Walker, Environmental <br />Protection Specialists (EPS), at the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. Mr. <br />Stark succeeded Mr. Walker as the Environmental Protection Specialist assigned to <br />this Permit as of 1 April 2004. <br />Concerns carried over from previous inspections: none. <br />Signs and Markers The only sign at the site is a Division reclamation identification sign. <br />It was in good repair. <br />Hvdroloaic Balance Ground was damp at the site. There was no surface runoff <br />apparent at the site. There was no water in the sedimentation pond.
