3 <br />III. COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. This site is entirely reclaimed, with a total reclaimed area of <br />about seven acres. Ground conditions on this day were dry and the weather was cool and <br />windy. <br />Signs and Markers <br />The mine identification sign was in compliance with Rule 4.02 and 4.20.3 <br />Hydrologic Balance <br />The sediment pond was in good condition and was dry. Engleville Gulch was also dry. <br />Fish and Wildlife <br />Three buck deer were observed in the center of the reclaimed area. <br />Revegetation <br />The reclaimed area appeared in good condition considering the extended period of dry <br />weather. Grasses and fortis have dryed down for the season. Livestock were not <br />observed inside the fence that surrounds the reclaimed area. <br />Overall the site appeared in good condition for fall. <br />Page 3 <br />
