Signs and boundary markers were posted as required by the Rules <br />2. The excavated area lies within the permit boundaries, at least according to the map. <br />Measurements were not taken due to the steepness of the pit. <br />3. Enough distance and height has been left as the quarry ascends to allow for only 5' <br />highwalls to remain after some minimal grading has been done. <br />4. The site is still in active operation, with the road snaking upward to the top of the pit. <br />The scalehouse and buildings are still in place in the storage/process area. <br />The bond for this pit will be recalculated to determine whether adequate bond has been <br />posted.
