The pump sits in a vertical white collar about 8" in diameter which looks in good
condition and the electrical wiring looked in good shape. There was about 6" of water
sitting in the first sump nearest the bulkhead and, during the inspection, this pump kicked
in and pumped some of that water out. The second sump was dry and the pump was checked and
in working order. There was no discharge observed form the Hazel-A and the pump back systems
appeared to be working effectively in preventing this. Since the area will be now entering
a period of spring melt, it is expected that there will be a significant increase in inflow
into the Hazel-A. The operator needs to be vigilant in monitoring this adit so that the
system is operating to keep this at zero discharge.
I ~ E Contact Address
^ CE
NAME Mr. Curtis Bernhardt ^ BL
OPERATOR Colino Oro Molino ^ FS
STREET 76 Beaver Street.
