Dave stated that the pile will be <br />relocated at the turnout as soon as weather permits activity at <br />tl~e pond's edge. Maximum recovery of this stockpile is vital due <br />to the shortage of available topsoil for reclamation. <br />Annual precipitation is 15-20 inches. To date, no revegetative <br />efforts have taken place. Areas to be seeded this Spring are: <br />the fill slopes below the road and bench, the banks of Hubbard <br />Creek which have been disturbed, the topsoil stockpile, the berm <br />around the bench edge, and the pond outslopes. <br />SUMMARY <br />Problem area noted in December 13, 1979 State inspection: <br />Small coal spill on road near scales. <br />plugged ditches. <br />lack of dewatering device on the pond. <br />OSM has no violations cited.
