(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-2001-114 <br />INSPECTION DATE 3/13/03 <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS ESC <br />This was an inspection of the Stark Quarry conducted by Erica Crosby of the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. Mike Loukonen of Loukonen Bros. Stone was present during the <br />inspection. <br />An 110c Mining and Reclamation Permit was issued to Loukonen Brothers Stone on 8/26/2002 <br />for a total permit area of 9.12 acres. The Division holds a financial warranty in the <br />amount of $31,415.00. <br />The quarry is located '/a mile west of Masonville in Larimer County, Colorado. Mike <br />Loukonen presented a new mine identification sign recently made for the Starks Quarry that <br />will be installed at the entrance to the Weaver Quarry (M-1986-085). The Starks Quarry is <br />immediately west/northwest of the Weaver Quarry comprising an area of 9.12 acres. The <br />permit area was delineated with boundary markers along the western and northern edge of <br />the site. <br />The operator recently cleared the area of vegetation and topsoil in preparation of mining. <br />The cleared area is in the parcel of land immediately west of the Weaver Quarry. The <br />topsoil material has been pushed to the western boundary of the site in a long windrow. <br />Overburden rock has been placed in areas that will not be mined. <br />No structures exist on site, and none are proposed for this operation.
