The site is located approximately 13.5 miles north and 3 miles <br />east of Arriba, Colorado along the Arikaree River. <br />This site was just permitted in may of 1999 and has not been disturbed as of this inspection <br />date. The pit is essentially a drainage bottom pit with very little disturbance planned <br />outside of the active channel of the river. The identification sign was properly posted at <br />the public entrance to the site and the affected area boundaries were clearly marked.
