,,- <br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Arness McGriffen Mine for the month of September, <br />1996. <br />The revegetation work done on the 4-wheel ruts going up the slope and the flat area where <br />vehicles park have been revandilized by 4-wheelers again. This will probably be a regular <br />occurenceforever. <br />Trash still remains scattered about the site from party Boer's and people who don't want to pay <br />the local dumping fees. The road is perpetually in poor shape due to erosion and stress it <br />receives during hunting season. A four wheel drive vehicle is almost mandatory for vehicle <br />access to the site. <br />The revegetation work performed earlier this year was marginally successful due to the problem <br />with the 4-wheelers. <br />
