A site pre-operation inspection of the Van Valkenburg Pit was made as the applicant has filed an application for a <br />Regular 112 Permit for 36 acres. The site is located 22 miles southwest of Walden on State Highway 14. <br />2. The inspection confirmed that the applicant's proposed 36 acre permit will overlap existing 30-acre, Special 111 <br />Operation Permit M-2002-077 permitted by Kirkland Construction. <br />3. Signs and markers were adequately posted. <br />4.
