rj <br />(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-i9Rn-~aa <br />INSPECTION DATE: in-~f;-m INSPECTORS INITIALS: ~ls- <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The Division conducted a monitoring and construction progress inspection of the site on 10-18-01. Present during the <br />inspection were Mark Tidquist and Phil Barnes of CC&V. Inspected the Phase II PREGNANT POND AREA, and recorded the <br />following readings from the High and Low volume solution collection system transducers. <br />LOW VOLUME SOLUTION COLLECTION TRANSDUCER PUMP # 1 WAS RECORDED AT .17 AND # 2 WAS AT .28 <br />HIGH VOLUME SOLUTION COLLECTION TRANSDUCER # 4 WAS AT 27.6, # 5 WAS AT 31.9 AND # 6 WAS AT 35.6. ALL <br />MEASURMENTS WERE IN FEET OF HEAD. <br />THE HEADER PIPE FOR THE PHASE III LEACH PAD WAS BEING DIRECTLY PUMPMED INTO THE PHASE II PREGANAT <br />SOLTION POND USING A SMALL SUMP. The standing solution noted in the area, was due to the direct pump apparatus <br />using the small sump. According to Phil, the operator (CC&V) felt that was the fastest way to have processed solution <br />reach the pregnant pond from the phase III area. No major problem noted. <br />Inspected the underdrain system below the toe dam. All three underdrain discharge pipes were discharging at the time of <br />the inspection. The north underdrain discharge was still being pumped into the external pond. Highway 67 relocation work <br />is complete. The Phase III area 100 year 24 hour diversion work is complete and the ditch appeared to be in good repair. <br />Inspected the external pond, according to Phil, WORK ON THE PUPM BACK SYSTEM SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY THE <br />END OF THE MONTH. The pond was still holding a lot of water, fence around the pond in place, no major problem noted. <br />Inspected the Load Out Bin and crusher area construction for Phase IV. Work was continuing on the filfickler wall. The <br />lined area that was to be used as staging for Phase IV construction has been covered with a minimum of five feet of drain <br />cover for protection from vehicle traffic impacts, no major problem noted. <br />Inspected the Cresson Pit, it was active, no problem noted, storm water drainage control systems in the area appeared to <br />be in good repair. <br />Inspected the Iron clad and Globe Hill over burden storage area, it was active at the time of the inspection.
