This tv~as a partial inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division of
P'inerals and Geology. This former undergrarnd mine was reclaimed and reseeded in
1Se95 and early lt}97. The mine has achieved a Phase ]1 bond release for the
majority of the disturbed area. The ground was damp from a brief shower.
Siyns and Markers
White PVC pipe marks the boundary of the reclaimed area. Markers are located at
corners or bends in the boundary. The operator shr:nrld ensure that the necessary
information in accordance with Rule 4.30.2 is added to the mine identification
sign at the mine entrance before l.he September inspection.
Hydrologic Balance
While field conditions allow, the operator should ensure that all water monitoring
sites far ground water are appropriately marked and maintained in accgr'dartcf, with
Rule 4.05.13i3)(a). This should include sites PA`rJ-5. PAW fi. CCAW-l. SF 2. NM~20.
