This appan;ntly wes not part of
the reclamation plan.
Response: We assume that you are referring to the waste rock dump ranter than mine
tailings in reference to the 9360 level. As you are aware, recamation activities were in
progress during the site inspection that included re-soiling tha surtace of the 93110 waste
rock.dump and other ground shaping activities associated with that wodc. Since the
time of the inspeclon, we have completed additional work induding re-shaping of the
area we believe is referenced in the inspection report. The entire surface of the 9360
dump is free-draining to the north towani the receMry reconstructed and tiprappetl
Windy Gulch overflow channel. The crest berm along the dump top was also
recorfigumd and excess riprap from the recent channel construdron activities was
placed along portions of the berm. The resultant configuration should minimize erosion
of the dump top surface and face and assure that any overland flow on the dump surface
are reported to Windy Gulch at the north end of the dump. Recent completion of soil
covedng on the dump wrface and future reestablishment of vegEQation should
additionally minimze precipitation water infiltration into the waste rodt dump.
