This site is entirely reclaimed, with a total reclaimed area of
about seven acres. Patchy snow covered the ground and the weather was cool and sunny.
Availability of Records
The public copy of the mine records is kept for review at the office of the county
planner at the Las Animas County Courthouse. All required records were located as
required and found in compliance.
Hydrologic Balance
The sediment pond was found in good condition and was muddy in the bottom. Engleville
Gulch was dry.
Revegetation
The reclaimed area appeared in good condition. It did not appear that grazing had
occurred since the last inspection. Grasses and fortis have dryed down for the season.
Overall the site appeared in good condition for late fall.
Page 3
