General Comments <br />At the time of the inspection, Hank Weaver informed the Inspectors that <br />the mine had been shut down since December 15, 1983 and that he and Bob <br />Weaver had come out to the mine that morning to check the mine and <br />equipment. Mr. Weaver was informed that, although Mr. Hobbs had been <br />appointed as a court-appointed received of the mine by order of the <br />District Court of Gunnison County, Colorado on January 26, 1984, the <br />Division had not yet approved a "Request for Transfer of Permit and <br />Succession of Operators" and that no mining should take place until such <br />a transfer was approved. Mr. Weaver agreed not to proceed with any <br />mining until the transfer took place and Mr. Hobbs became the legal <br />operator.
