MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-i gRn-~aa <br />INSPECTION DATE: ~~-~a-~~ INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: RK <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The Division conducted a bi-weekly construction progress inspection of the Phase IV (A), (B) and (C) <br />AREAS, AND monitoring inspections of the Phase II leach pad areas. Present during the inspection were, <br />Mark Tidquist and Phil Barnes of CCBcV. The area had received some snow the night before, which was <br />evident on the surtace at the time of the inspection. <br />Inspected the Phase IV, CONSTRUCTION AREAS. According to Mark approximately 40,000 square feet liner <br />was deployed in the Phase IV, PSSA AREA, since the last inspection. The low volume solution collection area <br />was still holding some water, which appeared frozen. Weather permitting; Ames plans to complete the liner <br />deployment for the PSSA area, before the end of December. No geomembrane liner deployment work was <br />being conducted at the time of the inspection. Back fill and grading work along the Phase (IV, B AND C) <br />areas was continuing, no major problem noted. <br />Inspected the Phase II, pregnant solution collection area, and recorded the following readings from the <br />High and Low Volume solution collection transducers. <br />High Volume solution collection transducer # 4 was recorded at 26.4, # 5 was at 22.3 and # 6 was at 26.8 <br />Low volume solution collection transducer # 1 was recorded at .42 and #2 was at .14 (all readings are in <br />feet of hydrostatic head) <br />Inspected the under drain area, the pump back system pumps are in place. The under drain pipe <br />connections and stabilization of the areas used during the construction should be completed by the end <br />December. Both the North and South under drains were dry. The 4-inch pipe was at a trickle.
