III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the mspect~on. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection, Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action <br />This was an aerial inspection flown by Harry Ranney of the Colorado Division of Minerals and <br />Geology on December 14, 2004. Oblique aerial photographs were reviewed by Kent Gorham <br />of the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology on December 19, 2004. The Rimrock Mine <br />consists of approximately seven acres of reclamation. The 2004 growing season is the <br />eleventh (11) growing season after reseeding. <br />Hydrologic Balance <br />The permanent sediment pond appeared dry. The reclaimed area was shrouded in shadows <br />as the sun was setting to the west. The reclaimed area appeared normal for the winter <br />season. Cattle were not visible grazing the site. <br />Nothing warranting on-the-ground inspection was noted in any of the photographs taken. <br />
