Long <br />Division DireUOr <br />Tltis letter is in response to your request for clarification, dated June 2~, 2001, pertaining [o [he above-named <br />permitted site. Your letter included requests for information pertaining to other permitted sites, Which Will be <br />handled in sepam[e letters. Your letter +eas a timely response to my June 4, 2001, inspection, at which problems <br />were found. <br />Permit 1D signs are required at all permit areas, as described in Rule 3.1.12. The information required on the sign is <br />described in this rule, :utd includes the correct permit number and name of operator. The current sign location on <br />the building onsite is adequate. Lack of an up-to-datesign +vas noted as an item to update during the Division's <br />1997 inspection The correction of the problem must be completed by the new correction date, and proof of such <br />correction sent to the Division by the date slto+vn in the report. <br />The requirement for permit boundary markers is satisfied at this site. The county road and storm+vater runoff berm <br />appear to adequately delineate the entire permit area. Please ensure that the beret is maintained so that it remains <br />functional, and so that it remains a visible attd kno+vn boundary [o onsite personnel. <br />if you have questions or comments, 1 tnay be reached at the Division's Durango field office: 70l Camino del Rio, <br />Room 12~, Durango, CO 81301; tel 970/247-i 193 or fax 970/247-~ 104.
