Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken <br />dump the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />Items of Interest from the provlous Iropectioru: None <br />This roport b based on an aerial inspection of July 16, 2001. Mr. Harty Ranney, Environmental <br />Protection Specialist (EPS) of the Division, made the flight He took aerial photographs dump <br />the tllphi. This report b compAed by Byron G. Walker, EPS, based on an oral debrieflnp of Mr. <br />Harry Ranney and a review of three photographs taken by tulr. Ranney. AAr. Ranney stated <br />that he saw no problems at the site. Photographs aro on file at the Division, and are <br />numbered 25-01-07-16-1 (1) through 25-01-05-16-4 (3). Copies of the photographs have been <br />mailed to the pertnittee along with a copy of this roport. Comments ore necessarAy limited to <br />the scab and detaA of the photographs. The Portal 3 ores and the Loadout Area were not <br />coverod by thb inspection. <br />~Q,~ The access road into ttse Portal 1 faclrties area appears in dl three photographs. It <br />appears to be in good shape. <br />uv_ngn_i Or-aC gAi ANCE ~ ~ P~ and Ponds 1 and 2 (water treatment ponds) aPPea- <br />to ati tires photographs, as does Sedimentation Pond 9. The wafer troatment ponds appear <br />to be operating at design busts. All the impoundrtrenis appear to be funclloninp property. <br />The stock pond at the south road switchback is not amine-related pond. <br />SUPPORT FACILiTIFS See roads above. The long pond, Ponds 1 and 2, and Sedimentation <br />Pond P-9 all appear to be in good ropatr and operating property. The riprap drainage across <br />the Portal 1 facAities area appears in Photographs 2 and 3. It appears to be in good repair. <br />The riprap rolbf drain for the waste d'uposal area appears to Photograph 1, and appears to <br />be in good repair. <br />Page .3 of _~_ Pagae.
