As noted in inspections of the site, Grant Brothers continues to work in Phase
1. Due to the fact that concurrent reclamation has been on going the site disturbance has
been kept to a minimum. Staff did not up date the costs for reclamation of Stage P as the area
has not been disturbed since approval of the permit. The review focused on the current
disturbance in Phase 1 only. Should expansion into Phase 2 begin, a review wilt be
undertaken to access the costs of that impact. The review shows that the $19,000.00
Financial Warranty is adequate at this time to accomplish reclamation.
If you need additional information, please contact me at the Division of Minerals and Geology,
Grand Junction Field Office, 101 South Third Street, Room 301, Grand Junction, Colorado
81501, telephone no. 970-241-1117.
Sincerely,
_+T-~ - 6 _. _ .
G.
