<br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the New Pryor Mine for the month of Janurary, 1997. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE: The site was covered with 6-10 inches of snow and no discernable <br />signs of erosion could be seen. Pond K at the NW corner of the site had about 1 foot of ice and <br />water in it but was not discharging. No other ponds had any water in them. Pond Z has a breah <br />in the embankment and does not function as a pond (this happened in the years past). The site <br />continues to be erosionally stable. <br />
