III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the inspection. Comments <br />also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />Jerry Nettleton (Nettleton) of Twentymile Coal Company (Twentymile) accompanied Byron Walker (Walker) <br />of the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) during this inspection of the Foidel Creek Mine. <br />This inspection started at 11:08, was suspended at 13:00, resumed at 14:00, and closed at 15:45. <br />There was about three feet of snow at the site. Access to certain azeas was restricted. <br />ROADS <br />Some roads were snow-packed, others muddy. Roadside ditches were operating properly. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE <br />There was little surface runoff noted during this inspection. A ditch to Pond E was cleared of ice during the <br />inspection. Inspection of impoundments was limited due to snow.
