III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspection of the Ohio Creek Coal Mine #2 for the month of July, 2003. Weather at the <br />time of the inspection was sunny and warm. <br />Hydrologic Balance: The pond is dry and not discharging. All ditches are clear and capable of <br />functioning as designed. <br />General Mine Comollance: The site is stable as far as erosion is concerned, however, as seen by the <br />photo below, vegetation is more vigorous outside of the disturbed area.
