When the Division arrived on
site on 10/10 /O5, due to blowing snow, visibility was limited and both Mr. Goss and myself decided it was best
to come back some other time during better weather conditions to inspect the site. The site is a small 1 10 sand
gravel operation located approximately 1 1 /2 miles North of Ellicott, Colorado. Present during the inspection
was Mr. David Goss the operator. Mr. Goss explained that the past year all the material removed from the small
pit was used on his property. The pit, which measured approximately 2000 feet by 40o feet and 3 feet deep,
was holding some snow from the recent rain. A very small amount of processed material was noted along the
South side of fhe permif. Permit sign and boundary markers properly placed. The existing financial warranty is
adequate to cover the existing disturbance. The operation is in compliance with the approved recalamtion
plan.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: MR DAVID GOSS
OPERATOR: GOSS SAND AND GRAVEL
STREET: Rt_ h759 Flli~~tt HWY
CITY/STATE/ZIP: CAI HAN Cnl nRADI~ RnRnft
CC: RICHARD HILLARD
Harry Posey )e-mail)
cc: I' CE
All overburden/ topsoil
I' BL
I' FS
I' H W
I' HMWMD (CH)
I'
r SE
t WQCD (CH)
r OTHER
