This joint inspection was conducted in response to a request by the Colorado Department of Public Health <br />and the Environment (CDPHD) when the fuel spill reported to DMG by the Weld County Department of Public <br />Health and Environment was reported to CPDHE. The spill had previously been reported to CDPHE, but some of <br />the observations identified in the earlier inspection conducted by DMG were not observed by CDPHE during <br />their inspection of the site. The purpose of the inspection was to identify the observations made by DMG in the <br />previous inspection of December 20, 2002 to CDPHE. Present at the inspection were Kate Pickford, DMG, and <br />Brad Simons, CDPHE. Attempts to contact the operator prior to the inspection were unsuccessful. Weather at <br />the time of inspection was clear, calm, and approximately 30 degrees. <br />2. The same observations that were made in the previous inspection were identified for Mr. Simons. No further <br />observations were made during this inspection.
