._ <br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection of the Arness McGriffen Mine for the month of March, 1996. <br />The site is bare and dry. There are signs of minor erosion occurring where precipitation builds <br />up on the flat part of the bench below the backfilled highwalls and flows down the slope, <br />forming some small gullies. <br />
