Ill. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the <br />inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or <br />evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspection of the Marr Mine Strip Mine conducted by Harty Ranney of the <br />DMG. Aerial photographs were taken on January 9, 2003. The aerial photos were reviewed by <br />Mike Boulay of the DMG. Weather conditions were clear and sunny at the time of the flight. <br />The majority of the mine site was snow covered. <br />The permanent light use road accessing the shop/warehouse azea was snowpacked and there is no <br />activity appazent at the mine site. The surface of Ponds B, C, and D were snow covered and <br />appeaz frozen. Water levels in each of these ponds aze low. Sedimentation Ponds A, E, F, and G <br />aze not visible in the photos. No problems or azeas of concern were noted from the review of the <br />aerial photographs. <br />
