Page 2) <br />MINE ID :: OR PROSP[CTING ID i[: ti+-roan-gee <br />INSPECTION DATE: --GJ1610~ INSPECTOR ~S INITIALS: -BY. <br />OBSERVATION <br />The Division conducted a monthly monitoring inspection of the ante on <br />6/16/06.The main purpose of the inspection was to collect quarterly water <br />sample from the under drain discharge for wad cyanide analysis. with Mr. <br />Lawrence Meyers present one eight ounce sample from [he r inch pipe was <br />collected. The North under drain was dry and the South was at a drip every <br />three seconds, given how long it will take to collect an eight ounce <br />sample, only from the 4 inch pipe was collected. Operators also collected a <br />split sample using their own bottle. All the lower ponds including the <br />storm watez' detention structures were dry. Tnspected AG 1.5 it was dry, in <br />fact this is probably the driest I have observed Arequa Gulch, since I have <br />been coming in the area. Sample collected was placed on ice and delivered <br />to the Colcr.ado Health Department lab in the afternoon. <br />With Gary Goodrich and Tim Comer present inspected the # 3&4 PAI) AREAS. <br />Removal of the spent ore is continuing, the plastic liner is being placed <br />in the Cresacn pits as backEiLl. CC&V plane to complete the removal of the <br />material and burying the 1Lner in the Cresson mine pits. Removal of Lhe <br />spent ore and liner from ponds should be completed by the end of summer or <br />early fall in anticipation of the Main Cresson Expansion. Inspected L}Te <br />East Cresson mine, backfilling of the second lift was in progress. <br />Cnspected Phase I,II,III&IV LECAEI PADS AND RECORDED THE FOLLOWING READINGS <br />FROM 'I'11E High and Low volume solution collection Transducers. <br />Phase I High volume solution collection transducer # 2 was recorded at 1.1.6 <br />and # 3 was at 21.2. Low volume solution collection transducer # 1 was <br />recorded at .17 and # 7, was at .52. <br />Phase IL AND III High volume solution collection transducer # 4 was <br />recorded at 14.0 # 5 was at 12.8 #6 was at 12.5. Low volume transducer # t <br />was at .08 and # 2 was at .71. <br />Phase IV High Volume solution collection transducer # 7 was recorded at <br />12.8 # 8 was at 11.7 # 9 was at 12.9 and # 10 was at 12.7. Low Volume <br />solution collection transducer # i was at 14.4 and # 2 was at 9.0 inches of <br />hydrostatic head. Inspected the external pond, most of the water has been <br />pumped to the pad f.or make up water, only a mall amount was being held by <br />ti;~• pc::d. Low volr.irne transa:_~~=r a '.v~:; rec<~rded at 11.9 and # •.v,.ay ,at 8.9 <br />:n~~P:era rf hydrrostatic head.
