III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the <br />inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence <br />supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Blue Flame Coal Mine for the month of August, 2000. The site is reclaimed <br />and the weather is clear. <br />Hydrologic Balance: The site is very stable and there were no signs of any significant erosion. <br />Reclamation Success: The site continues to be one of the best reclamation sites we have. Vegetation is thick and <br />diverse. Some of the shrubs have survived the deer onslaught and appear to be able to withstand the coming winter. <br />
