The pit and future expansion areas were observed; the site was very
clean and organized.
2. A topsoil stockpile was graded and seeded for use in future reclamation
efforts. It was suggested that a buffer of topsoil stripped laind be
maintained between the pit walls and undisturbed land to achieve maximum
topsoil recovery.
3. Access and haul road berms should be maintained to minimize aft'ected
land runoff from traversing undisturbed lands.
cc: Mr. G. Scott Briggs
/bdc
Doc. No. 6176E
