A site inspection was conducted in response to the operator's request for a financial <br />warranty release of 2.43 acres which are either undisturbed or have not been redisturbed <br />since 1977 when the permit was issued. The request is approved. Accordingly, the operator <br />has submitted an application for an amendment to the existing limited impact permit to <br />include 2.43 disturbed acres that were previously outside the permit area. The 2.43 acres <br />to be added consists primarily of clay and topsoil stockpiles. <br />2. Various measurements were made of existing topsoil stockpiles, overburden to regrade, pit <br />dimentions, mine bench dimentions, highwalls, various haul distances, and other miscellaneous <br />disturbances. Mr. Barnhart, representing the operator, presented a draft final reclamation <br />calculation of $28,000 (based on the measurements taken during the inspection). This <br />inspector concurs with the estimate of $28,000.
