(Page 2) <br />MINE•ID n,OR PROSPECTING ID ~{ M-89-052 <br />INSPECTION DATE 06/28/99 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS CLK <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The following observations were made during a routine inspection of this 110 site. <br />1) Signs and boundary markers were posted at the site as required by the Rules. <br />2) Approximately 0.6 acres are currently disturbed. The flat excavated area below the 60'-70' <br />highwall was paced out, and measures 40p by 63p (5670 SF). Another, smaller, older trench <br />to the north of the main excavation, measuring 60p by 30', is bounded by 6' highwalls. An <br />overburden and materials stockpile on the south end of the site is approximately three <br />times the size o£ the measured open area, and about 12' high. A topsoil stockpile running <br />north-south along the eastern boundary is approximately 100' long by 90' wide and 10' high <br />(1980 CY topsoil). <br />3) No exposed groundwater or ponded surface water was noted at the site. <br />No other problems were noted during this inspection. A recalculation of the bond will be done <br />within 60 days, to determine if adequate bond has been posted to cover the cost of reclaiming <br />the site. <br />I 6 E Contact Address cc: Carl B.
