III. Comments/Compliance
This was an aerial inspection conducted by Jim Burnell of CDMG from photos taken on the
afternoon of Tuesday, January 13, 2004. The mine site was quiet and deserted and snow-
covered. Weather was sunny.
There was no sign of instability or erosion on the west side of Hubbard Creek. The former
stockpile area was snow-covered.
The benches -both upper and lower -appeared to be stable beneath the snow. No
determination could be made on the state of the seep at the north end of the lower bench.
Pond 5 was frozen over and covered with snow, as was Hubbard Creek.
The upper road to the upper bench showed no sign of instability or erosion. The lower road
also appeared to be stable.
Pond 3 and 4 were both empty. The embankments appeared stable in the air photos.
The lower access road showed no signs of instability or erosion.
The access road (Hubbard Canyon road) appeared to have been traveled only by a snow
machine.
