<br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection of the Carbon Junction Mine for the month of March, 1996. <br />The site is dry. <br />The operator appears to be conducting maintenance on some of the equipment on site. <br />Both ponds are dry. The seeps that generally run in the spring are still dry. <br />The topsoil piles are signed, stable and well vegetated. <br />
