The site is a :small 110 , 9.8 acres gypsum mining operation that is located <br />approximately 8.9 miles North East of Canon City. <br />The operator was contacted but due to doctor's appointment, was unable to attend. The site is opearted on <br />as need basis, and was not active at the time of the inspection. The entire permit area was walked and <br />inspected .Mine benches were stable, no major erasion features were noted.
