(303) 666-3567 <br />September 16, 1981 <br />On July 16, I98I; Mike Long from this Division and BLM staff inspected <br />your operation site to determine the status of highwalls present and <br />their possible affect on adjacent public lands. <br />We are concerned that the presence of these highwalls will not afford <br />proper reclamation of the site. According to the plan you submitted, final <br />slopes will be no greater than 3:1. <br />We question whether there is enough material present on site to stabilize <br />highwalls and whether you can achieve the 3:1 slopes as permitted.
