One is at the fork in the County <br />Road the other is at the entrance to the site. <br />9.03 Roads <br />All roads at the mine site were in good condition. The culverts a{~d ditches <br />along the road are clear. Some vegetative growth is evident on the road cuts and <br />embankments. <br />4.05 Hydrologic Balance <br />Pond C is complete and functional. T,he operator stated that some dditional <br />riprap would be added to the emergency spillway. <br />Ditch C1 is nearly complete. Some additional grading was to be co{~ducted <br />near the end of the ditch away from the pond. <br />All other ponds and ditches observed were in good condition. <br />Most of the pond embankments seeded in the past showed some good <br />Some reseeding may be required in the fall. <br />9.06 Topsoil <br />Some additional soil has been removed from the area of the souther limb on <br />the horseshoe dump. This material is being placed on the north end of topso~l stock- <br />pile R. The vegetative growth on the south end of the pile has been preserv d. More <br />topsoil is scheduled for removal from the dump site. <br />4.14 Backfilling and Grading <br />The stage 1 cut is nearly complete. Backfilling is progressing be ind the <br />mining area. <br />
