III. Comments - Compliance <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments inc. de discussion of <br />observations made during the inspection. Comments also describe any <br />enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence <br />supporting the enforcement action. <br />On June 18, 1991 a partial inspection was conducted at the Blue <br />Ribbon Mine. This mine is currently in permanent cessation. The <br />weather was partly cloudy and the ground was dry. <br />Along the access road to the sediment pond the thistle weeds <br />appeared to have been sprayed with an herbicide and were showing <br />epinastic effects. <br />There was a little bit of water in the pond. It does not appear <br />that the pond contained much water from runoff this year. <br />
