1. An aerial inspection inspection of the Nyholt Pit was conducted. Several or more oblique
photographs of the pit were taken with a 35mm camera and will be used by Division Staff
during future permitting and ground inspections at the site. Recently, representatives of
the Denver Water Board have :shown interest in purchasing sand and gravel pits in this area
for municipal water storage. Accordingly, it is important to know the status of mining and
reclamation at these sites.
2. Copies of the aerial photographs will be made available to the operator upon request,
provided the operator is willing to pay for the cost of duplication.
