<br />• (Page 3) • <br /> <br />~ MINE ZD # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-80-244 <br />INSPECTION DATE 8-20-99 <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS BK <br />The Division conducted a monitoring inspection of the Squaw Gulch Waste Storage area on 8-20- <br />99. Present during the inspection were, Miss Ami Mecketti and Mr Phil Barnes of CC&V. The <br />purpose of the Inspection was to make sure the three storm water management ponds located at <br />the toe of the present waste storage areas were functioning as designed. All three ponds were <br />walked and inspected, the East side upper pond was holding some water the lower pond was <br />dry, no severe erosional features were noted. The west side pond was holding some water and <br />was discharging through the leaky dam as designed at the time of the inspection. <br />Inspected the Eeacon Hill area of phase III. Backfilling and grading was continuing. Golder <br />QA/QC personnel was present. Inspected the East Cresson area. The new Haul Road is in place <br />in the upper Squaw Gulch AREA. Removal of topsoil and grading is almost complete, Removal of <br />trees from the North Cresson area of phase III was still continuing.
