• (Page 2) • <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-~ 9Rn-~aa <br />INSPECTION DATE: ~-7R-m INSPECTOR'S INIITALS: aK <br />The Division conducted a monitoring and construction progress inspection of the site on 6-28-01. Present <br />during the inspection were Mark Tidquist and Phil Barnes of CC&V. Inspected the Phase III area. Highway <br />relocation and temporary diversion work was continuing. Existing storm water diversion structure in place <br />appeared to be in good repair. Continued the inspection to the Phase II pregnant solution collection area, <br />no problem noted. While in the area, the following readings were collected from the high and low volume <br />solution collection system transducers. Low volume pump # 1 was recorded at .OS feet of head and # 2 <br />were recorded at .O6 feet of head. High volume pump #4 was recorded at 17.6 # 5 was recorded at 13.4 <br />and #6 was recorded at 16.1 feet of head. <br />Inspected the external pond construction. Most of the liner work is completed, with the exception of QA/QC <br />work. The lined area was walked and inspected along the perimeter, no major problem noted. The solution <br />collection pipes were in place; anchor trench work along that area was being conducted at the time of the <br />inspection. <br />Inspected the underdrain area, highway relocation bridgework was continuing. Both the 4" pipe and the <br />south under drain 24" pipe were discharging at the time of the inspection. Inspected the phase IV, soil nail <br />wall for the new crusher, construction area south west of the existing crusher. No problem noted. <br />Continued the inspection to the main Cresson pit area, pit was active, no major problem noted. <br />Inspected the Ironclad Globe hill area, over burden placement was continuing. The foundation for the new <br />truck shop as approved in Amendment # 8 was being placed north east of the existing shop at the time of <br />the inspection. No major problem noted.
