This inspection was conducted as part of the Division of Minerals and Geology's monitoring program. Present at the <br />inspection were Kate Pickford, DMG and Noble Underbrink, Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District. Weather at the <br />time of the inspection was partly cloudy, calm, and approximately 60 degrees. <br />2. A sign was posted at the entrance to the site and the boundaries were marked. Topsoil is stockpiled and well vegetated. <br />Berms surround the site to prevent surface water runoff from the site. There is a breach in the protective berm along the west <br />side of the site. This allows surface water resulting from irrigation of fields up gradient to flow across the site and drain into the <br />adjacent wetlands. Slopes bounding the disturbed area are 3:1. Noxious weeds were not present at the site. <br />3. All activities and completed work at the time of inspection appeared to be following the guidelines set forth in the mining <br />plan for the pit. All operations and conditions at the time of the inspection fall within regulations.
